"Downtown businesses supported free buses because they helped bring people downtown & decreased workers’ transit costs."

Ditto protected bike lanes. If you make travel easy, it turns out that people spend their time & money doing what they need & want to do--not fighting traffic.

I'll allow it.
Thanksgiving Pizza 🍜

'Tis the season for pizza crimes! Unsurprisingly, this was delicious (but very heavy, I need a nap lol) - used a thick turkey gravy as the base, then topped it with cheddar, brie, turkey breast, sage & onion stuffing and cranberry sauce.

Some folks keep arguing against reality — and the math keeps embarrassing them.

As winter flooding looms, it's worth noting that a young street tree in an asphalt surface can prevent 60% of the rain that falls on it from reaching the ground, even when not in leaf.

Increasing the low levels of urban tree cover should be a strategic national priority.

Ate some pizza this weekend, the bottom was a Brown Sugar Buffalo Chicken - and the brown sugar was a nice touch, not over powering at all, just enough sweetness to balance to Buffalo sauce heat. Would eat again.

Some homemade pizza today!

Honestly, I had to fight for even this much pepperoni. Too many picky eaters.

It tasted unreal tho, and I have extra sauce for some quick pasta later. (sauce has some veg blended in)

Just the president of the United States rationalizing that a Washington Post reporter was basically asking to be murdered and cut to pieces with a bone saw because of his reporting.

As he sits next to the thug who ordered it.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."
