No kinda about it. It does suck. Except one time back in February when I was walking to the subway after a show and it was miraculously almost empty and it started snowing. That was like movie magical, but also a huge lie because that is not what Times Square is like at all.

I am very lucky to have a boss encouraging me to rest up and get better instead of working. During our weekly check-in yesterday she said you better not have much to tell me because you should be resting a lot. I'm going to miss her so much when she leaves at the end of the year.

I saw them last month and said even if I hadn't known the age of the audience I would have been able to tell by the fact that everyone was recording their concert videos horizontally instead of vertically.

Y’all I was just served up a video of some woman making homemade baby food in which she included raw chicken. RAW! What in the ever loving hell. I swear everyone has lost their damn minds. Social media videos are literally going to be the death of us if AI doesn’t get there first.

Saturday which will be just under 2 weeks, but I’m also immunocompromised so it can take me forever to get over things. I don’t need it to be completely gone. Just gone enough that I’m not worried that I will be forcefully coughing through the whole show

Not that I can think of. Like I went outside for a small walk after work and was mostly fine, but every night between 7 and 8 my body is just like I’m done keeping this cough at bay. Time to go full force.

I really need my body to stop deciding that it needs to melt down into a non-stop coughing fit every night at 7 pm. I’m going to be really mad and sad if we have to cancel our anniversary trip because there’s no way for me to go to a Broadway show like this. It wouldn’t be fair to anyone else.

We have created a monster. My husband bought a new kind of dangly thing on a stick to play with and Loki loves it more than anything in the world. Now he won’t stop whining and trying to get into the closet where he knows we keep it.

I have not left my house since last Wednesday. I am practically one with my sofa. Trying to decide if going out for a little walk will be better or worse for my cough.

Realizing that all of our travels between Baltimore and NYC on Saturday are going to be a challenge with the Baltimore Running Festival cutting off our access to Baltimore Penn Station and our hotel being 1 block off the NYC's No Kings protest.

I tried Nyquil cough one night. It didn't knock me out and then I just felt weirdly groggy the entire next day. So I've avoided sleep aids since then. I am trying a cough suppressant without an expectorant in it as I fear the expectorant has been making the post nasal drip and coughing worse.

I don't think so. My sinuses aren't that congested. I can tell they are somewhat deep in there, but I have always been able to breathe through my nose.

I had the benefit of being able to throw Baltimore into my search because when the ice cream shop announced the flavor collaboration with her, I was like wait is she from Baltimore? I found this article, which confirmed it.

It's been a long time since I've had a cough, so maybe I'm misremembering, but I really can't remember ever having a cough this relentless and persistent. Every second I have spent in a mask over the past 5 and a half years has been worth it to avoid having more illnesses like this.

I know everyone is tired of hearing me whine about this cold, but it is the weirdest most brutal yet not brutal cold I've ever had. When I'm not coughing I feel completely fine. When I am coughing, which is like every 30 seconds from around 7 pm - 7 am it's miserable and I haven't slept in days.
