Also I have to say, I know it got critically panned but my 5 year old and 7 year old were GLUED to the screen. They loved it.

Also I can't overstate again how good the lighting is. I'd love to know more about how they faked (or maybe didn't fake???) all the indirect bounces, if there was every anything written about that.

I've heard from multiple people that it goes on for too long so idk if I'll actually reach the end considering how bad my gaming attention span is, but I'm determined to at least get to the flamethrower since I've heard that's the best mechanic.

The genre mashup gameplay isn't quite as tight as Amnesia: The Bunker (which was also almost 10 years later) but it's very close, and there's absolutely no faulting the art design, lighting, sound work, and especially the portrayal of the Xeno.
