We need to normalize feeling bad for a few days to prevent feeling worse for montha to a lifetime.
They are all "no pain, no gain" about exercise & the like, but not about something as simple as preventing debitating illness.

All over my FB people talking about their bad experiences with shingles vax and dissuading each other from getting it! We need to give people real info on how to mitigate the symtoms caused by vaccines because vaccines are always better than meeting a virus unprepared. Yet drs aren't coaching ppl

How about safer planes?
The Trump administration said it wants airlines and airports to offer travelers healthier food options, exercise equipment and family-friendly features like playspaces and nursing facilities.

I had a freakishly severe case of chicken pox as a kid. In retrospect, I should have been hospitalized. I dunno if there's a correlation with how shingles would hit me, but if so, I'll probably just burst into flame.

Happening now: Texas leaders announcing a rollout of a statewide program to put TPUSA chapters in high schools and colleges across the state. Gov. Abbott adds that schools that stand in the way should be reported to the Texas Education Agency.

Really bummed about SCOTUS not taking Little v. Llano County. But goddamn, Leila and her fellow plaintiffs have been tireless advocates for the freedom to read and for freedom of access in libraries and we cannot lose sight of how hard this battle has been. How glad I am to live in a world w/them.
