this perfectly captures this entire administration’s “the emperor has no clothes” energy

we are all expected to pretend this man is the King of Health, and he himself believes it, which is why he confidently in front of witnesses attempted a thing he cannot do, knowing they will all say that he did

No one should have to spend money on lettuce. It should be growing in at least every other household with the folks growing it sharing it with those who don’t.

Why aren’t some growing it? Well maybe they enjoy growing something else. Maybe they just don’t feel like it. They still get free lettuce.

FUENTES: “No. But women are very difficult to be around.”
P: “Should they vote?”
F: “No.”
PIERS: “They should stay home?”
FUENTES: “Yeah.”
PIERS: “So you’re just a misogynistic dinosaur. Have you ever had sex?”
FUENTES: “No.”
PIERS: “Wow. Says the guy who never got laid.”

notice how it's the admins pushing this- no one who cares about education is pushing this, it's short-term thinking by careerists who believe in nothing
The university bought Claude AI for students to use.

Here it is at work, denying that the East Wing of the White House has been demolished.

Everyone imitates Tolkien all the time except when it comes to the one way it would really matter: making the protagonist of your novel for children a short, fat, 50-year-old man who doesn't want to do anything.
