@sarahmillican.bsky.social your husband seems fun.
It makes no sense to burn carbons building offices that will be unoccupied for ⅔ of their life, forcing employees to burn carbons commuting to those offices, and cities to burn carbons building infrastructure that is inadequate for rush hour but over-capacity the rest of the time.
The City is running out of one of its most precious resources: office space. By the end of 2028, it is estimated that there will be precisely zero feet of prime office space available in London’s financial centre.

An #FTEdit 🧵on how the City of London ran out of space 👇

To turn a red state purple is a win
Trump won this district by 22 points. We’ll see what the margins are in the end, but the fact that this race was even close bodes well for Democrats in 2026 and will totally freak out Republicans (Mike Johnson especially).

@aftynbehn.bsky.social did a good and courageous thing.

I think a lot of what is driving the corporate acceptance of slop is that there's a lot of product managers and producers who don't have a creative bone in their bodies, but this process allows them to role play like they are creatives.

No, it really isn't fine. Fresh water is for drinking, not for cooling AI slop.
Sure, at the risk of welcoming a pile on- i think there is real usage but if you care about water its nowhere near the worst use. I think its used as a stand in metaphor for AI consuming lots of capital and resources but water itself is probably fine

There, fixed.

Why hasn't he been impeached for almost everything he has said>

Idiocracy was not a documentary.
We’re about to invade Venezuela because trump wants their oil. No other reason. The airspace has been cleared. Embassies are being evacuated. Flights are being canceled.

He’s going to kill people for oil.

Soaking the base of a concrete pillar in vinegar rusts the rebar. As it rusts the rebar increases in size, cracking the concrete from within. Obviously this is be a terrible thing to do and I dont recommend it for fence posts because they could be easily snapped with a light blow from a hammer later
