quick bit of reading up on Yoshiaki Kawajiri. The majority of his TV work was animation, character design and storyboard based work. He only directed one series: X, based on the manga by CLAMP.

If you're into Yoshiaki Kawajiri's stuff, it's definitely worth watching. Not his best, but I found it a very satisfying watch.
Also, if anyone has seen Johnny Mnemonic, this is the anime that plays on the TV at the start of the movie.

I know it's based on a book, and maybe that fleshes things out a bit more, or it could be something completely different. It's an interesting world. It was also kind of strange hearing Hideyuki Hori play a teenager. The man sounds the exact same no matter what.

Great stuff. Loved it. Pretty simple story, like I could compare the structure to an arcade beat em up. Not as intense as Wicked City, it was a lot more fun. A load of exciting and well animated demon fights, which is fine with me.

I'll always give the movie this: As divided as everyone was on Last Jedi, hating Rise of Skywalker united them.
tbh, there are like two scenes which are kind of decent, and they brought in a lot of decent actor (that were wasted)
