This is good: Rep Eric Swalwell tells me House Dems are now discussing making an end to mask-wearing a precondition for ICE funding.

"When we are in the majority, the masks are coming off," he says.

I think I might genuinely go "hey, is the school going to pay for whatever physical therapy or movement training or whatever would be necessary for me to change the way my footfalls work? if not, fuck off."

Does anybody have suggestions for how I might defend myself against accusations from my downstairs neighbors that my roommates and I are, like, walking too loud or some shit? Assuming all of us are just acting normally I don't know what to do about this

I'm like 99% sure they're older than that, if only because it would be weird that force fields, the term "blaster", tractor beams, force swords etc were all invented by pulp magazine authors in the 1930s but it took half a century for someone to think "oh plasma is a cool word"
