finally got this fixed today (rescheduled multiple times due to glass delivery fails 🙄) and the whole car smelled like grape after.
I assume they use some specific grape air freshener to hide the fresh adhesive smell.

anyway it looks great. camera calibration and car-wash leak testing to follow...

I was very relieved to find my friend was more supportive than annoyed by the traffic delays. He was late picking up the kids from school, but so was everyone else 😄

He's a mixed bag politically, and lives in a pretty conservative Portland suburb. I never rly know where he's going to land on things

funny you should say... I just yesterday added to my to-do list, to put our smoke detector back on-line

(I removed the battery while I was still getting settled here, and out of town a lot, bc mom was far more likely to hurt herself trying to turn it off, than to be saved by it)
