As of recently: making lists on paper.
I used to use my grocery store's app to make shopping lists, but after losing connection to the Internet mid-shop and LOSING MY WHOLE LIST more than once, it's actually easier to just use paper and a pen at this point. A notepad won't feed me ads either.

At least in the US, the system is very cleverly designed to make the rich and powerful seem untouchable to the average person. So, instead of going after the right people, many just choose easy, vulnerable targets to project their frustrations onto.

Ugh. And it's like- Even if you're fine using AI stuff (i'm not, for the record), so much of it is keyword or link flooding like you mentioned, and so much of it just looks terrible and uncanny.

I just went over there to see for myself, because you never know nowadays, and saw SO much other abhorrent propaganda. This is so shameful and appalling. They're really waging war against US citizens and residents. I really don't have any other words besides, "Wow."
