I love the living and physical world around us. That's why I've chosen the name for the tree of life.
Come to NYSME's show in Carlstadt tomorrow and next weekend. My specialty is Trolleys, Interurbans, and Light Rail.

Hmmm. My feed on my Threads account is suddenly conflict driven. I'm seeing lots of people I follow, responding to some mundane appearing "bonehead." (Look it up.) Is this a new algorithm by Threads to drive engagement through conflict? Maybe that's why I spend more time on Blue Sky.

(1) Cats are IN with our culture. But when I look at representations of cats in the 20th century, it was often very, very bad. Tom & Jerry? Tom is an abused cat that has to interact with a clever mouse. Sylvester was another abused cat threatened if he didn't catch the mouse.

Trying to force a protégé to sleep with him is the least of Larry Summers sins. I’ve been hunting this toxic asset for three decades, and his victims number in the millions. No kidding. #LarrySummers #EpsteinFiles gregpalastinvestigates.substack.com/p/the-sins-o...

Since February, according to my latest analysis, almost 600,000 Black women have been economically sidelined. The November 20, 2025, Jobs Report makes clear this isn’t a blip. It’s a structural crisis. That is not a recovery. It is a redistribution of opportunity.

Apparently the New Yorker hired Arthur H. Cartwright, Children's Theatre Critic to write their review of Wicked: For Good. Petty with a dilettante's knowledge of the original source material. More in the comments. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kF-...

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

Such beautiful news from the Emerald City, where @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social personifies the emerging young Democratic wave. Lucky Seattle!
JUST IN: Katie Wilson significantly extends her lead in the Seattle mayoral race.

She now leads Mayor Bruce Harrell by 1,346 votes, or 0.5%.

That's up from the squeaker-lead of 91 votes in yesterday's update). She won today's batch of nearly 6K ballots by 20% (!).

Not much left at this point.

SEATTLE!!!

We’ve now taken the lead by 91 votes! 🤯 This thing is certainly not over! Over 1,000 ballots have been challenged, so if you haven’t tracked your ballot yet get on it! Our trusty volunteers have been working hard to "cure" ballots so they count! We're so close!

KATIE!
The exciting talent @katiewilson.bsky.social has taken a narrow lead as ballots are still being counted in the Seattle mayoral race.
If you want a sense of why this is very cool news, here's something of mine from earlier this fall

Trump will say that now “even the Democrats agree” with him and he was “right all along.” Over a month of brutal pain was inflicted on the American people, and now he’ll claim it was “all the Democrats’ fault” and “they finally came to their senses.”
