Labour won’t touch a wealth tax—but why not a one- off Tax, to generate billions. Even Thatcher did it in ’81 on banks, £400m raised. Blair did it in ’97 on privatised utilities raising £5.2bn. Why keep squeezing wages & pensions while big assets barely get touched?
