Part of being busy lately has been in doing some seasonal cleaning around the home. I came across some interesting items I need to document, which includes this SEGA disc from Famitsu leading into the 2008 Tokyo Game Show. 😀

I bring a secondary NES around to events, so it's in poorer condition than my main console. It's the nature of the beast when you're messing around with things that are about 40 years old. 😄

Despite the preparations, it was a fight to get the NES fully functional this morning. The bonus was I managed to have the game fail to load platforms, so everything kind of just fell to its doom before the game hard crashed …

Doing some prep for Be Excellent Fest tomorrow! It’s been years since I’ve opened and cleaned an NES.

I mainly opened this to tighten the hinge screws for a better set into the system. At some point I’ll have go to further and do a full cleaning and pin replacement on this!

I always saw people insist it was just pixelation of the logo from the time, being angled and squished.

There are development docs for the game at VGHF at the link below, but logos aren't mentioned. I'd be curious if the dev team ever heard about this.

I guess when I backed up tweets, the package contained media from things I reposted. I didn't make this clip from WWF Raw and can't tell who did, but I stumbled across this in my archive, and it made me laugh.

The four-player gameplay was amazing, but I can't say I ever did this.
