This popped up for me mere minutes after I published this week's What's Good, but I've always got time for Joshua Redman.

I think it's important to remember that a key tactic of fascists is to gaslight the public into the a perception of reality that doesn't exist. And it's important to be careful not to adopt that tactic for yourself, or tolerate it from anyone else just 'cause they're not.

I’m not going to lie, leftists/liberals/labor organizers acting like they’re too cool for alt text is so common because they don’t think disabled people could possibly help.

Do they all think this way? Of course not. Do enough that it’s a safe bet? Oh yeah.

My pick for the Lexa Gates song featured in What's Good this week isn't one of 'em, but she's got a couple of joints on there produced by Leon Michels, and I'd be down for them doing more work together.

loved editing this piece by @idamoj.bsky.social about a topic that could seem really wonky and dry but boy did she bring it to life. “The fish rots from the head”!!
At home in the dark during SF’s massive blackout last month, as journalist @idamoj.bsky.social scrambled to save food, she also wondered how we got here.

It’s too simple to cast PG&E as the only villain, she argues: Why aren’t we talking about the CPUC? www.coyotemedia.org/in-the-dark-...

Caelyn documents the terrible incident that occured last week where she, and many other women in the wargaming hobby, disappeared completely, and looks at how it can be prevented from occurring again.
Short institutional memory can’t excuse wargaming’s most insidious cultural issues.
Bigotry and bad behavior in the hobby cannot be treated as isolated incidents.
