I love it when little garbage cats develop the luxury of food snobbery. Yes he was tiny wet ball of fleas found in a ditch but now he's a velvet prince who wants the premium, organic, grain-free chicken in gravy, NOT the premium, organic, grain-free chicken au jus how dare you offer that garbage.

R. H. Bing (October 20, 1914 – April 28, 1986)[1] was an American mathematician who worked mainly in the areas of geometric topology and continuum theory. Bing's father was named Rupert Henry, but Bing's mother thought that "Rupert Henry" was too British for Texas. Thus she compromised by abbreviating it to R. H.[5] Consequently, R. H. does not stand for a first or middle name. When Bing was applying for a visa, he was requested not to use initials. He explained that his name was really "R-only H-only Bing", and ended up receiving a visa made out to "Ronly Honly Bing".

Oscar is usually the least affectionate of my cats (he was a stray for a long time and while he’s mellowed out A LOT since I managed to bring him inside, he’s always been very independent) but lately he’s been putting up with me fussing him CONSTANTLY and has been super loving.

Twinkle passed away last night. She was 25 years old, I literally had her since I was in school. I’ve tried to mentally prepare myself but you can’t really. I’m devastated.
Thank you for being our baby Twink. I love you so so much.

Margo has scraggly speech bubbles with unnecessary accents over all the vowels (as it her way) that say "the lady returns from her toils. now is Margo's chance." "I'm not an expert on how to teach," he said. Phal thinks professors should view the potential of teaching with Al as "something transformative." I mentioned Erat's empty office hours and asked Phal how he planned to enact his vision of the future, one where Al filled classrooms rather than emptied them. "The professors themselves," he said, would be responsible for figuring that out. Phal was sure they would succeed. "That's good," he said, because that's "ultimately progressing as a civilization." Phal seemed already to have moved on—he had another question on his mind. "How do we progress faster?" he asked.

When cinema is authentic, it does not merely console, but challenges. It articulates the questions that dwell within us, and sometimes, even provokes tears that we did not know we needed to express.

The emergency vet felt a mass on Misty’s throat, and with the steroids showing no sign of improvement and her being unable to drink the vet advised that euthanasia was the kindest path to take.

Misty has deteriorated and I’m currently waiting on the phone to get through to an emergency vet.
I’m going to max out my credit card and do everything I can for her. I will be opening emergency pay-what-you-want commissions.

There is no foreign body in Misty’s throat. The vet is concerned she may have Laryngitis or Cancer of the Larynx.

I can’t afford the biopsy at the moment so for now we’re treating with pain relief and steroids and seeing if she recovers but if she doesn’t the prognosis is not good.

I’ve had to rush Misty to the vet this morning, I’m worried there’s a foreign body stuck in her throat.
She’s under sedation while they have a look, I’ll find out if everything is okay in a few hours.
She doesn’t go outside so I have no idea what it could be :(
