No, independents tend to return their mail ballots closer to the election day, so the dem share was always bound to drop. Dems' share at this point in 2024 was 59.7% (56.9% final).

2021 and 2022 turnout for them was only 25%, not expecting much higher here, they just don't vote outside of presidentials.

Because that is an extremely normal thing a lot of cultures do. Including a lot of large Jewish families!

In a bit of a tense moment, one of the La Mega co-hosts presses Mamdani on why he "lied" about his "aunt" having been scared to ride the subway after 9/11 while wearing a hijab.

Mamdani says it was "not a lie" because he refers to his father's cousin as his "aunt."

Yeah, but I really wish big accounts on here would stop overreacting/engagement farming based on one poll, whether it's good, bad or mid. Not saying that avg aggregators are perfect, but it sure is better to follow that than this constant bedwetting over single polls.

If we go further also Blackwood, Dayne, Martell, Arryn, Velaryon and if we count them separately from Baratheons, Durrandon too. She has to be up there among characters with the most known houses in their bloodline. I guess maybe Jon beats her but can't think of anyone else.

I love it how Stannis arriving at the wall was one big distant family reunion. Him, Shireen, Jon and Aemon are blood related and then Sam, Selyse and Shireen again are also blood related. Shireen has Baratheon, Florent, Estermont, Targaryen blood going back three gens.
