FoxNews has good ratings across the board tho, CBS has consistently the worst ratings in the broadcast news category.

That video was straight up embarrassing, if I wouldn't be following these things and watched it, I would guess she's already running for president in dem primary, not for a senate seat in a red state.

Yeah, 2014 was a dumpster fire overall, especially in the senate, but both senate and gov races in Georgia having almost exact margin as 2012, despite rest of the country being around 10% redder, was a sign of things to come.

On the other, we have people thinking every southern state can become new Virginia if dems try hard enough. This stuff isn't hard to look up, neither is if a state even has a party registration.

For me it's the people who think mobilizing dem base is enough to win in Texas. This website has real trouble w/ partisanship of states. On one hand we have people calling Maine a red state, Georgia a deep red one or Colorado purple.

And as a result Rs could lose ther supermajority and accelerate MetroAtlanta-fication of Indy suburbs.
December 12, 2025 at 6:45 PM
It's also about their own legislative races. Not sure from where the nos are from but Harris made some gains in Indy suburbs compared to 2020. A lot of this is probably moderate ticket splitters who would get angry at them for kissing the ring and giving in to the threats.

Depending when VRA opinion drops, looking like mid January at earliest, cause a lot of states can use it and redistrict. Southern states are so polarized, they wouldn't worry about dummymanders (w/ exception of GA and maybe SC). Mississippi is out too cause their filling deadline is in few days.

It's scary how many people on here have no idea how electoral politics in US work. Even if M4A doesn't lead to a backlash that would make 2010 look like 2022, parties are not rewarded for legislations for decades lol, few years after Great Society Nixon won two terms, 2nd by a huge landslide.

she's running

Southeastern (FL) democratic incumbent who got reelected by a huge margin against a house republican. And Sherrod Brown is running again. To think about it, there is/might be quite a few similarities.
December 10, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Out of the 6 that dems gained, 3 were reach seats ( VA, MT, MO). They were probably not as much of reach as the current ones tho. Northeastern state (RI) had seemingly undefeatable republican incumbent who was seen as a moderate...

6 senate seats and governorships gained, sounds good to me tbh.

Democrats hoping to win in Florida is like Republicans hoping to win Colorado in 2022. Even if that year was more of a typical midterm, 5% redder let's say, it still wouldn't have been close to happening.
December 10, 2025 at 1:47 PM
It doesn't matter how much democrats gain with Latinos in Florida when republicans keep moving there en masse, it basically cancels it out. 2018 and 2022 had Florida defying national numbers, we shouldn't expect anything different in 2026.

Oh wait there's also Ulf, but he's funny in ShowEuron way, I'm not proud of myself for finding him funny lol.
