one of the best shows in countering this is The Shield, which among other things shows that Vic's attitude is not only *personally* corrupt but disastrous for justice. In the final season they explicitly note that numerous cases will be undone.

Also, they want to make content. And that means they are going to take the worst stuff people say in response to them (this being the internet, some of which might be quite bad) and splash it across the official comms organs of every major federal law enforcement agency. So take that into mind.

This is why I continuously correct people on Border Patrol vs. ICE. Two different agencies, both under the DHS umbrella, with the former being *significantly* more aggro than the latter.

The govt's attys also say in a footnote that today is Hott's last day as ICE ERO Field Office Director for Chicago (!!)
