This does make me worried for the (at least immediate) future of fighting games. Creators, press and publishers alike just haven't been doing that much in recent years to support indies, and without indies to push the boundaries, the genre will start to creatively stagnate.

So, he has a few health problems (of which we dont fully know the scope yet) and was losing weight, but i've giving him some new medicine and food and he's already gained some weight back.

The Skeletons Are Fighting demo is pretty good actually. Very simple art style but the game feels fluid and fun.

Yeah, the 2D Fighters category is mostly beat-em-ups and party games. This category used to not be featured at all on sale pages, I guess this was why

Played the demo for "Half Sword" on Steam for Next Fest and it's really fun. Very brutal and lifelike feeling medieval arena combat. The game here is set to the "medium" level of violence, which is pretty violent still.

Oh I didnt realize this had a demo already. Nice. I only knew about Bootsies and ExploJudo doing one for next fest, I should take a look at the fighters category (though its usually filed with games that arent fighters)

right? of course the highly algo pushed stuff is popular because it's pushed, but i just don't have a taste for highly algorithmic feeds. i click one thing on tiktok and it's like, oh, now you wanna see people dancing to this same song over and over again. no I don't! (i no longer browse tiktok)

this feature is REALLY bad. anything in another language gets a bad monotone english dub over it. and youtube DEFAULTS to it!

Fellow YouTubers, go to your Settings > Uploading Defaults > Advanced Settings and turn off "Automatic Dubbing" to prevent YouTube from using AI to steal your voice and poorly translate it into other languages.

I've already turned mine off before and YouTube turned it BACK ON again.
