My statement on the two year anniversary of October 7, 2023.

“Two years ago today, Hamas carried out a horrific war crime, killing more than 1,100 Israelis and kidnapping 250 more. I mourn these lives and pray for the safe return of every hostage still held and for every family whose lives were torn apart by these atrocities.

In the aftermath of that day, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government launched a genocidal war: adeath toll that now far exceeds 67,000; with the Israeli military bombing homes, hospitals, and schools into rubble. Every day in Gaza has become a place where grief itself has run out of language. I mourn these lives and pray for the families that have been shattered. Our government has been complicit through it all.

This must end. The occupation and apartheid must end. Peace must be pursued through diplomacy, not war crimes, and our government must act to end these atrocities and hold those responsible to account.

just migrated off the official bsky #pds yayy! :D

the main migrate command unfortunately failed to upload my new PLC since the token had expired by the time it finished migrating my blobs lol

so i had to manually do the PLC operations at the end :p

Running `goat migrate` to migrate my account from the default Bluesky PDS onto my own PDS (https://bsky.devcomp.xyz/). It shows progress: creating account, migrating repo, migrating preferences, migrating blobs.

Manually doing PLC operations on my PDS. Constantly swapping between the new account on my PDS and old account on the Bluesky PDS. I get the recommended PLC information on my new account and sign it using my old account, then submit it onto my new PDS. Finally, I deactivate the old account in favor of activating the new one.

imo winget is a worse scoop cuz it just runs installers (which sometimes require admin / ui inputs) whereas scoop extracts the exe's or archives directly making it a one step thing such as linux package managers

it also doesnt require admin and is fully portable, so u can just move ~\scoop
