Billions dumped into this. Billions wasted.

Meanwhile the cost of living crisis makes people's lives a living hell.

This stuff makes me so mad.

Price of the goods: €5
Tax paid: €13

Lets tax stuff you get to support small creators, we all know big corps will find a way to not pay shit...

When you build color palettes inspired by Rumi and Derpy tiger, and now every time you see that article shared, your brain goes "it's going up up up".
I think I brought that one on myself. I admit, it's my plan to help strengthen the Honmoon, and protect us from evil inaccessible color demons!!!

A few people were unhappy that I spoke about politics a bit on my stream, so I will re-iterate:

Your existence as a non gender-conforming person, as someone that is ill-treated by the world at large, or as someone who wants to preserve a notion of freedom of expression; Is always political.

Lack of sign/indication means priority to the right. And it’s pretty dangerous cause you sometimes don’t see perpendicular roads that have priority over you, especially in city centres with parked cars and how sidewalks can be.

The decisions regarding vsc are just disaster over disaster. All it does now is shove AI in your throat, while open issues for critical things have been rotting there for years… when they’re not just being toxic to the people asking for features… lack of alternatives is harsh :(

It states that if there is no clear sign or indication of priority at a crossroads, the person coming from your right has priority.
It’s kinda bad tho, there is an unhealthy amount of crossroads where you don’t see it, there should be signs everywhere to avoid confusion 🥲😅

I gave in… I started using nix with home-manager to make my setups on new machines easier…

Didn’t expect to enjoy it that much tho 😂

This is certainly the tism talking but I find so much joy in curiosity and the process of learning that the idea of wanting to outsource thinking to a machine is unfathomable to me

That’s the fun part! Why wouldn’t you want to do that?

I realized something recently, which is that we're building AI tools completely backwards.

While I was aware that there's some de-skilling happening already, I finally clicked a bunch of pieces together and decided to write this to talk about how we can do *better*

Stop Building AI Tools Backwards | Hazel Weakly
I’ve been reading this week about how humans learn, and effective ways of transferring knowledge. In addition, I’ve also had AI in the back of my mind, and...

But Sacha, why do you refuse to use AI ? Well... Now you see.
Google joins the call to gut our legal protections, pushing for a world where Big Tech gets to profit from all your innovations & works for free, and that theft is ok’d by law.

No joke IF they get this, the US will likely face irreparable harm as pivotal creative economies crash.
