The mysterious black fungus from Chernobyl that may eat radiation
Mould found at the site of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster appears to be feeding off the radiation. Could we use it to shield space travellers from cosmic rays?

It wasn't just a box office success - Frozen introduced a new type of Disney princess: one who was strong, flawed and uninterested in romance.

Great read.
As happened going from no phones to mobiles, developing countries in the global south are now going straight to #renewables and missing out the #FossilFuel step. Everyone now has access to cheap power - could this see a global power shift.

Very much a case of a fossil government cheerleading for the dinosaur NZ auto, and oil, industries. When 'dirty old Aussie' is trumping us in terms of renewable generation and EV uptake rate It's now getting to the point where this is downright embarrassing to be a Kiwi.
