Going electric absolutely works for us. Here’s our grid today.
Moving from petrol/diesel to #EV is easier. But we still have dry years when lake levels get low. Encouraging more solar on houses/businesses would help take the load off the lakes during those times

More large scale solar are coming on line.
Each country will be different.
US will likely have more large scale solar and wind than hydro, like Australia.
Aus 40% & increasing, #renewables for domestic power mostly wind and solar - despite having the 4th biggest global coal reserves.

This isn’t going to change things over night esp as heavy farm equipment has a long life - several decades.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now. The same now applies to buying electric farm equipment. 😄/3

Why this is important is John Deere is the largest farm equipment manufacturer in the world. They are everywhere.
