It's #WIPWednesday once more! We're jumping right back in with #Nuzi date time 💜💛 They're so goofy silly to me.

It might have been a bit of a grizzly sight for other drones, but Uzi was used to it. Using her new utensil, she tapped it playfully against the glass of N’s visor, and the fangs vanished behind a softer, almost shy smile.
Wasting no more time, Uzi jammed the fork into the mix of wires, twirled it so that it wrapped around the prongs, and almost unhinged her jaw in her enthusiasm to try the meal before her. No sooner had her lips closed around the metal than did she feel giddy sparks flying in her CPU, fans whirring dizzily as her processors overloaded with delectation so intense she thought she might swoon. It was heavenly, the perfect balance of flavours; the savouriness of metal met the sweetness of the oil in an intimate embrace, complimented by just the right amount of tang from the battery acid lingering on the cell’s shavings.
Tears now prickled at the corners of her eyes as a strange mix of emotions overcame Uzi – joy at the sensation, and yet also sorrow at having missed out on this for all her life, and she hastily shovelled another mouthful into her waiting maw, relishing each and every bite and the way its taste danced on her tongue.
‘Oh sweet Mother of Code, I need to marry this drone.’
“N,” her voice came out somewhere between a desperate gasp and a rumbly growl. She could feel the oil trickling down the corners of her lips. “You have to teach me how to make this.”
N only laughed sweetly, his tail swaying gleefully back and forth behind him. He’d barely touched their food yet, he seemed rather transfixed on watching her eat instead. “Oh, I just kinda threw it together, y’know?” He chimed, his voice teetering on the edge of a laugh, as he reached across with a napkin to tenderly wipe her cheek. “Although seeing how much you like it… maybe I should have made more!”
