glare was predatory by nature, as if she already had a plan to end the man if necessary. She was prodding for weaknesses, anything to exploit.

"'Azraq," she nodded, accepting the offered hand. Her own hands were rough and calloused.

Not quite 'lady-like.'
deathoncall.bsky.social
It wasn't only her left that was covered- her throat, what was exposed of her torso and back, the right side of her body. Silvia was adorned in body art, ranging from floral arrangements to that obsession with death she held.

Rolling her neck, the Spartan studied our mercenary for a moment. Her (+)

Completely dwarfed by her, but he had no intention of pissing her off!

" Sometimes hands are made for one job, but with a gun? Yeah, it's a tool we can use. Wade Wilson, at your service. "

Silvia, of course, had been absentmindedly staring. She had a habit of it- reading people.

Or just zoning out.

"What makes you say that, Sev?"
deathoncall.bsky.social
. . . y'know maybe as often as i call people out on it , i'd realize that i also have a staring problem .

Even her tone was aligned with the ink covering her left arm; dedication to her trade.

Dedication to Death.

"Unlike Marco-Polo, I know when my hands won't fix a problem," she smiled.

"But a gun? That always will."

There was his answer- a contractor, although nothing like him.
deathoncall.bsky.social
Silvia was far bigger than she had any right to be, especially without the armor. She stood at a height of 6'5", with shoulders as broad as a field hand.

She looked like she had stepped straight from the uncanny valley. She was human, yes, but there was something inherently missing and devoid. (+)

He's completely dumbfounded. Shocked actually... Even poked her muscle with the butt of his knife.

" You could easily be the next Juggernaut... Contractor like me? "

Either he considers mercenary work as contract work or... He's dumb
deathoncall.bsky.social
"Probably," she nodded, in reference to the 'kill in seconds' observation.

Juggernaut- Marko. That was a name she hadn't heard in awhile.

"No, nothing like that... Just a contractor."
deathoncall.bsky.social
Silvia's pupils were partially dilated, a reaction that was slightly out of normal for them. Another clue that something was off, and it wasn't something she could really help.

"I'm sorry," she exhaled. "I don't know why..."

Why she accepted the offer of revenge?
deathoncall.bsky.social
Rolling her eyes, the Spartan turns around- cutting off the show and folding her arms over her chest.

There's a certain four-letter word...

"Mhm. And what're you planning to do, exactly?"

❝ Nothing .. keep doing whatever you were doing ❞

She will keep staring
deathoncall.bsky.social
"Yeah?"

She relaxes her arms, rolling her shoulders and looking back at Illyana.

A (thankfully) unarmored Silvia is seated on the ground across from the [READER], cigarette burning between her lips.

In one hand, a golden pin- one with an eagle holding a trident. In the other? A photograph of a mother and daughter in a flower-field, both bearing smiles.

Like her?

"I embrace it."
deathoncall.bsky.social
If one thing was apparent- Silvia was out of her time by a long mile. Even while her attire was plain, it was still likely too revealing to be "normal."

While others may view it as a pine for attention, Silvia viewed her choice in a different light;

A warning.

"For you, maybe. Some people get--

" Oh. Fuck. You'd kill me in seconds... Actual seconds.

Are you the new Juggernaut or something?! "

"Nobody really is," she replied. Silvia let her arms down, a distinct pop sounding from her shoulder.

Her body was worn down after a decade of conflict. She even had the scars to prove it.

"Just the thrill of things. Adrenaline."
deathoncall.bsky.social
The Spartan laughs- a sound distinct from her usual tone, almost as if it was stolen from somebody else.

"Thrill's fun."

luck is an excuse for people who are too worried about their image to outwardly accept their own capability.
