The #BattleOfTheBulge raged in the Ardennes in Dec. 1944. Today in Bastogne, together with 🇧🇪 & 🇺🇸 friends, we commemorated & honored the countless victims & all 🇺🇸 soldiers who fought for the liberation of Europe. A powerful reminder of courage & sacrifice.

Na het boek “Le rail belge sous l'occupation” nu de indrukwekkende bijbehorende tentoonstelling in Train World in Brussel. De rol v.d. NMBS tijdens de bezetting: v.h. verzet tot de treinen naar Duitsland & de concentratiekampen in WO II. Nog tot 28 juni 2026. Belangrijk!

The security of Asia and Europe is closely intertwined. Free movement of goods in the Taiwan Strait is important for prosperity in Europe and worldwide. An escalation there would also affect us. Any change to the status quo must be non-violent and consensual. @aussenminister.diplo.de

Economic issues were a key matter on the agenda. We need open markets and free trade. Competition must be fair and based on rules. Market distortions and export restrictions are not in our interest and harm our economy. @aussenminister.diplo.de
