Hi, hope a question's OK -- my standard poodle's plasma cell tumor was almost big enough to interfere w/ eating. A couple of bad bleeds had us almost at euthanasia. Then it spontaneously switched from growing fast to shrinking fast. What's happening? (I'll ask her vet, too)

#veterinarians - An extramedullary plasma cell tumor (biopsy report), almost completely excised on 3/20, grew back large enough to bleed w/ toy-chewing and then rapidly reduced in size (see photos: left-to-right, taken 10/12, 10/11, and 10/10.

<sigh> yeah, saying "good job ceasing fire" counts as positive reinforcement. Beyond that? Support means help, helping broker a real chance for peace if we can, not helping perpetrate further human rights violations.

that makes food happen around here. He hits my hand when I put food in a bowl for him now. When he puts the paw together with this feeder, I think he'll get good at all the various puzzles we have, fast.

#BetterDems We won't get grown-up politics for grown-ups until we learn to explain complicated issues in entertaining & thoughtful ways. Take notes! Or outsource to influencers who already have audience-vibe-matching storytelling skills. Use paid roles + volunteers to rebrand the Democratic Party

Ultimately, the death of US manufacturing is about this attitude. It's easy to say "buy american or stfu" because virtue signaling is free. But it's hard to actually sustain a business because many Americans simply don't want to pay what it costs to produce things ethically in this country

Someone on Twitter replies to me: "meh. buy american or stfu."

Two hours later, in a separate thread, the write: "$30 for a single button-up is ridiculous unless it is decent quality silk."

Planning to say to my husband, "Number 2, sweep the fridge for signs of life! I think some of our resident vegetables are starting to spawn." Because 1. #nerds 2. he does the cooking so he needs to know what to shop for when he shops without asking what I've thrown away (he's independent like that)

Hell yeah, get those pets! I prefer a gentle pat or sustained eye contact but I'm over-generous with my affection. I've got one furry tortie that demands pets via hair pulling (like, MY hair when I'm half-asleep in bed). To do: retrain that to something less violent. They're all perfect, tho 💗

he'll realize he's not destined for bad years & prioritize other fun skills. Or not, he's getting old. The jumping off the counter part's not ideal so the plan is to *never* leave food in the sink strainer (removing pos. reinforcement). Neg. punishment requires training my husband first, tho

means. For example, Jethro responds to polite requests to "get off the kitchen counter," with no fuss, just the huff when he's back on the floor. It means, "Why aren't you letting me practice this valuable skill that kept me alive through the bad year?" Someday the trust will be high enough... 2/3
