From @npr.org 2019. Measles outbreaks in the early 1990s, which resulted in the vaccination schedule being updated to having MMR vaccine to be given twice instead of once. Now it is the standard of care.

Had a long overdue physical today. Asked my GP about recent impacts on health care. He said the biggest is that in 2 mos Medicare will no longer pay for virtual visits (had not heard this). He fears the negative impact this will have on senior & rural patients. Suspect disparities will ⬆️.

Toxic positivity is pressuring people to look on the bright side. They have to suppress anxiety, anger, sadness, and grief.
