UK BEWARE! These same odious individuals are already infiltrating our data. Thiel the man behind Palantir already has invaded the NHS data system and our private information. Farage works closely with them, he doesn't protect us he sells us out.

"Russia’s exit from the anti-torture convention is a stark declaration: the Russian state will act as it pleases and reject the oversight that might restrain its worst impulses," writes lawyer and serviceman Nestor Barchuk in his recent op-ed.

Sorry, what? There is no “race debate”. There is racism, there are racists.

This isn’t a legitimate political polemic, this is hate speech and hate crime.

Can we stop trying to wedge the bigotry of fragile white men in to public discourse? Doing so is hate-washing and we need to stop it.

Well, that was a new one!
Had to literally run to avoid getting hit by a driver this morning as he turned right into a side road at high speed, on the wrong side of the road, in fact on the wrong side of a pedestrian refuge! We have to share our streets with these maniacs 😔
(See alt text)
Screenshot from Google earth showing the junction. A green arrow represents me crossing the side road. A blue box and arrow shows another car waiting in the right turn lane on the main road, waiting to turn in. A red box and arrow represents the maniac in his car. He obviously couldn't wait patiently for his turn, so decided to undertake the blue car on the wrong side of the pedestrian refuge.

The #ClimateEmergency will make many of our towns and cities uninsurable, unliveable

There is a devastation coming which much of humanity is unprepared for

Because we built our communities trusting our leaders would protect us

Our homes and land will be destroyed by greed if we do not act now.

I fully agree that council tax needs reform, but abolishing it all together isn’t the answer (or at least you need to make more concrete proposals for how you’d make up the shortfall). Councils are incredibly cash strapped as it is.

Ahhhh (endless screaming). Where do they think *council* tax revenues go? Seems like an argument for raising council tax in the south east so they can enjoy much better local public services www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Retrofitting insulation should create secure skilled jobs, reduce bills and improve people's quality of life. Tragically, the Tories mismanaged it so badly that unscrupulous rogue traders have destroyed homes - now an expensive job to fix it. Such incompetence: www.theguardian.com/environment/...
