Perhaps the launch of Corbyn's new party will persuade Starmer to introduce proportional representation. Or perhaps Starmer needs to consider that he might need the left in some form?

Coverage of idiots claiming ‘betrayal’ or ‘surrender’ isn’t just bad journalism, it’s a dereliction of our duty to explain things. I’d actually forgotten just how bad it got but here we are, straight back to treating liars & spivs like authorities of equal weight to experts & honest brokers.

My personal architectural favorite for Palm Sunday: the Nikolaikirche in Leipzig.

Not just for the fabulous palm capitals, but also the site for the premier of Bach's Johannes-Passion (1724).

🚨 NEWS The energy price cap has increased.

This will pile even more pressure on people on the lowest incomes, who are already having to cut back on food and skip meals to cover the cost of their energy bills.

The UK government must, at the very least, make sure everyone can afford the essentials.

Laura kuensberg then.
I hear Nigel Farage is declining interview requests. First time for everything, I suppose. I suspect he’ll eventually speak to whoever is least likely to challenge him properly.

I was wondering what would be going on right now if we had a Tory or Reform government. The PM would be performing parlour tricks for Trump, they'd be putting the knife into Ukraine and inevitably Europe as well.
Whilst I am dissatisfied with Starmer i am glad he is PM. Just back Europe.
