In 2016 I took an extended trip to France. I'd been learning the language for ~2 years and thought it'd be a great way to gauge my progress. I had visions of spontaneous conversations with French natives at cafes and museums. I was going to be the charming American.

On my way home I find myself briefly behind a woman with the same hair, way of dressing, shape and even walk of someone I loved hugely who died a long time ago. She crosses the street and I wish we were going the same way to give me more time in a world where I have not lost her.

I'm not one to indulge in conspiracy theories but I genuinely believe Bibi knew the Oct 7 attack was coming & allowed it. Months before he tried to gut his justice system. IDF's tech+intel is top-notch yet they had a "lapse"? I don't buy it. Obliterating Gaza now paves the way for Kushner deals.

Hmm, well my sign has a freely rotating "wheel" (also posterboard backed by cardboard) so I'm not sure how the drop-cloth setup would hold up. Might be an idea for the board behind the wheel...

I'd love to post less about politics. That said the Dept of Education just slashed nearly all Special Ed staff. The vulnerable are under full-blown attack.

My wife and I are raising two autistic kids and we won't live forever. Our reality is terrifying for no good reason. I'm angry and I'll say so.

Every Monday it feels exponentially more difficult to context-switch. I went from reading the headline "Poland Says It's Ready for World War 3" to a work E-mail about required training.
