The Signal Man. Completed December 2023. Pen on paper.

The same image as previously described but finished. A Signal Man stands outside his Signal Box which is situated in a rocky and desolate ravine. Light from inside the box is the only source of illumination, it makes shadows of the rocks and man standing next to the railway tracks. Another figure stands motionless at the mouth of the dark tunnel. A few trees at the top of the ravine. Atmospheric, imagine the sound of wind blowing through the tunnel and…silence, loneliness.
