Incredible vibes in that movie, for me it falls apart a bit once they meticulously explain everything behind the central mystery. All movie long we've been primed to vibe and experience emotionally so the complete change of modes to a detailed explanation is jarring and incompatible with the rest

Definitely the worst overarching plot and worst big bad. It does however have some absolutely amazing individual episodes (but also two of the worst lol)

Completely agree, Flanagan's character focused approach is exactly what I gravitate towards and when he really has time to dive into long form storytelling, it just works beautifully. The non-linear storytelling and how he recontextualizes scenes from different viewpoints is just brilliant

I can't recommend it enough, truly a masterpiece (and probably the best thing Netflix has done). Perfect month for it too!
