Today's Hallowmeme.

A black and white version of the 4 panel Drake meme, but Drake has been replaced by Kichi's mother from "Onibaba" (1964). In the top left panel, she's all smiles as she points at the hannya demon mask in the top right panel. In the bottom left panel she's now wearing the mask, but seems to be having a hard time removing it. The bottom right panel has a picture of her daughter-in-law screaming in fear, and rightly so, because her mother-in-law looks like a demon. My advice: don't put on clearly cursed masks you've stolen from dead samurai. Or from anyone, really.

Happy 40th Anniversary of Rorschach seeing the city‘s true face to those who celebrate

The first panel of the comic “Watchmen.”

On the top of the panel, text reads “Rorschach’s Journal. October 12th, 1985. Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face.”
