#1 A Forma da Água - Guillermo del Toro e Daniel Kraus ✿。

★★★★☆

No geral, é um livro de fantasia dark e romance. Eu gostei da leitura, apesar de ter achado o livro um pouco arrastado em alguns momentos.

Book check! Just finished WhaleFall by Daniel Kraus, about a diver who gets swallowed alive by a whale (!) I am claustrophobic so this was a tough read, but so tense and gripping, as well as squishy. So descriptive you can almost smell it - Pinocchio this ain’t! #whalefall #danielkraus #booksky

Here’s something strange.

My June novel, THE SIXTH NIK, *heavily* involves… Greenland. Its geography, culture, history, and independence.

I never could have anticipated that Greenland would be in the news this much.

Hands off Greenland. 🇬🇱

I'm tired of hearing about AI all the fucking time. And it's really starting to feel like less and less companies are actually going to listen to us.

Libby decided they're fine with AI books on their platform. You know. A fucking LIBRARY APP.

Uninstall Libby. Fuck AI.

Does it also include a clip of the 6-min version of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD that I made as a teenager?

Sure does! 🧟🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️

Not all powers are for good. Reading “Athanasia” created by @danielkraus.com, Dani, Brad Simpson, and Jim Campbell. A little bit of “The Boys”, “Brightburn”, and “The Substance” together.

Burnett is a genius.
charles burnett’s sophomore feature “my brother’s wedding” (1983) is having its world restoration premiere at berlinale.

burnett’s follow up to “killer of sheep” is tender and enduring. i am grateful to have served as co-restoration supervisor for this 4K release.

Finished Vol 2 of The Life & Death of Zebulon Finch. @danielkraus.com calls it his opus; an amazing saga. Killed at 17; it doesn't take, & a century of being part of history. Forrest Gump w/o Mama's moral compass, a flawed character impacted by the times he "lived" in. A masterful work of fiction.

Book 4 of 2026: Whalefall by Daniel Kraus, recced to me by @bdcutkomp.bsky.social — seriously unlike anything I’ve ever read. Fascinating science writing around an absurd premise with supernatural elements (communing with the dead) but somehow it all WORKS. I was riveted. #BookSky
