The East Wing was built in 1902 & rebuilt in 1942, long after asbestos was used as a fire retardant. So, I’m sure the White House took steps to prevent a known carcinogen from entering the air during the current willy-nilly demolition.

My wife died Monday morning after a prolonged illness. I have shut off all news and kept the TV dark because I can only stand so much pain and I’ve exceeded my threshold. Sorry to drop out at such a time. Please fight the good fight. I’ll be back, but I don’t know when.
