how do they get CDs to do different shit depending on how it plays?

if i’m remembering this right i had a cd that played the entirety of track 4 if you let it play from track 3. but if you just skip directly to track 4 it cuts the intro off to just play what equated to like a ‘single version.’

i think if you accept 32nd notes into your heart, you could approximate that they never exceed like ~150 bpm which really is pretty slow for a post hardcore record i think.

mind you daisy gold’s fastest tempo is ~140 bpm lmao. but that’s not by design, it’s just a limitation (we suck).

i would love to be in a band with a cool keyboard player. so many incredible synth sounds on this one, the texture they add is just *pizza guy*.

also it’s not gonna be quite as crisp if you stream it on bandcamp but that snare sound has suuuuuch a nice crack. too much high end for the bitrate lol.
