I'm Dáire, an Irish artist, and I create work with strong narrative elements, with particular interests in folklore, fantasy, and darker themes. I paint in oils or gouache and can work across multiple styles. I'm available for projects! ⚔️

I just got a really kind message about my book My Father was a Fisherman. It was my first (and so far only, due to my health tanking at speed) book that I made back in 2018. This person really liked it and felt they had to tell me. It's made my entire week. 🥹🌞

new minicomic(s) - Formless Formless is a collection of 1-10 page exercises and experiments, partly made to try to get back into making comics again. About: a dream, a deal, fish, telling stories, remembering, or more. 24 pages, 5×7in, risograph printed in black (interiors) + bright gold (covers)
