On the up side, I don’t have to take my “as needed” anxiety medication as often as I once did.

On the down side, it makes me sleepier. I may have to how down to a half a pill.

I’ve still been playing through the pixel remasters. I just haven’t been posting 😂

Jedi Power Battles on the PlayStation. If there had been achievements I would have gotten them all. I liked it, but even back then I knew it wasn’t a good game. Invisible holes in the environment, questionable platforming sections, characters that just did not work properly. So bad 😂

Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy Of Goku for the GBA

I played it for a RetroAchievements event and. God. What an absolute wet fish of a game. Realistically not the worst thing in the world but I don't think I was ever really having any fun. Chasing funny internet points will take you to dark places.

It’s fun watching speedrunners play this now to show how broken it is because I just remember how freakin difficult it was growing up and just how easy it was to get lost.

Is this as bad as I think it is? For more context this is from Final Fantasy II. You have to go to this island in the middle of the ocean to retrieve the “Black Mask.” You can actually skip/miss this entire area with the natives as it’s not on the route to the mask.

Given Nintendo’s nature during the NES period, at least for the US the “seal” was a defacto ESRB and many games were censored in the process. Not saying that there’s nothing problematic that slipped through, but it is another layer of human review.

Content that intentionally targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics. * Sexual exploitation. Games that have been rated by official ratings boards (ESRB, PEGI, or similar organizations) are considered acceptable, as these games have undergone professional content review. This policy provides guidance, but is not exhaustive. It may have been a Gatcha game, but Tales of Crestoria could easily have been a standalone title. Out of the gate the story didn’t pull any punches and the game could work by itself without characters from the other titles. #TalesOf @bandainamcousa.bsky.social
