Swiss Cottage Gyratory
Following CRIM on Link 26 and buses consultation in July 2007, we started a campaign against the gyratory; renewed in context of CSH11 and again in Safer Junctions review 2012- 2013.

Quite.
I must of missed the petition for every road junction getting tactile drop kerbs, elimination of bell mouth junctions in urban areas and better policing of the mode of transport that kills an average of 7 pedestrians and maims 104 per week...
Halt hazardous bus stops
Will you sign our petition for safe travel? We're calling for a pause on bus stops that put people with sight loss in harm's way.

Our swift population is in sharp decline. They've fallen by two thirds since 1995 and were added to the UK's conservation red list in 2020.

But we have a simple, low-cost solution. Tell the government that now is the time to act to save our swifts.

At simultaneous green junctions, all cars get a red while all cyclists get green in every direction at once. Straight, left, right, even diagonals. By separating bikes and motor traffic into different phases, this design cuts collision risk while also improving capacity and reducing waiting times.

We have "car experts" who think it's in any way sustainable to have cheaper driving and therefore more driving, who oppose any moves to make driving even a tiny bit 'worse' or more 'costly' despite the clear demographic skews of car ownership & use. We need less driving, now, fast. It's that simple.

The result is the NHS permanently has 'no money' because it has to pay huge rent costs and the Government goes, "Oh dear we will have to cut services."

📈 Up by more than 40% since 2019

Trial by jury is a cornerstone of our democracy and an essential safeguard against authoritarianism.

It is truly frightening that such a fundamental freedom is now under attack.

Once rights are lost, they are not easy to win back. We must resist this with all we’ve got.
