Montreal sports-infrastructure falling apart?
Good thing then the city refused to ever build so much as one metre of mountain bike trail then.
My question is: why should a soccer field cost multi-millions of dollars? Does it really need to be gold-plated, just so kids can have some fun outdoors?

Living-donor kidney donation in the news.
A nice look at Canada's "Kidney Paired Donation" progrm, which is how I donated my kidney.
I was not directly (blood type) compatible with the person I knew with kidney disease, but we joined a chain of donors/recipients to make the best match among us.

Parc Outremont Park is a very nice park.
It has a new(ish) playground for kids, one where adventure and a bit of risk is park of the fun. 👍 Every kid we saw was very enthusiastic about it.

It took a while, but these people left and then we got the best seat in Parc Outremont Park.
Sitting in the park in the late afternoon sun on an October day, surrounded by happy people having a happy time, that's A+ good time.
And there was a duck.🦆
