PSA: if you ride your bike in below freezing temperatures, put hand grips or handlebar tape over the bare metal on the handlebars.

Is there also a law that states that obstacles must be placed in their way? Obstacles that force the cyclist to veer into the lane with the fast-moving car traffic?

Something very surprising I learned this summer is that this trailer that carries/deploys underground electric cable is self-powered and an operator has a control panel that guides it into place.
It isn't backed into position attached to the back of a truck.
It drives itself!
