Absolutely. I stand with Ukraine. My Mom was Canadian and born and raised in a province that has historically had tons of Ukrainians. It might be a tenuous connection but I still have a lot of those second gen friends.

This man was courageous enough to stand up to Trump and Vance.

So it's important to post this message and photo to 27 million people.

Don't just "like" it -- that only means that YOU'VE seen it.

Postb it, blow it up and get it out there!

Many of you who are tempted to express dislike because they are ‘boring’, would probably change their mind after having tried Scappi’s wonderful Renaissance Brussel Sprouts soup recipe. Divine. 😋
#Advent Day 5

Love a Brussel Sprout? Or are these green gorgeous globes your idea of grim green grossness?

Answers below😁

This festive feature from the late 1600s can be enjoyed in many dishes such as this fab Brussel Sprout Soup from 1570 courtesy of @tudorfoodrecipe.bsky.social

Stromanbieter: "Gute Nachrichten! Der Preis pro kWh sinkt! Besonders profitieren Familien mit hohem Verbrauch! Der Festbetrag steigt, aber das gleicht sich mehr als aus."

Ich (versierter Energiesparer, jahrelang in LEDs und Klasse AAA investiert): "danke."

At long last, a recipe: Chicken in a wine sauce, a kind of proto-coq au vin. Except with lots of spices and lemons.

Random thought while cursing railway information infrastructure: in your daily experience, do you encounter AI doing things that didn't previously happen? Because I can only think of instances of it doing things people used to do, but worse.

Investing in developing General Artificial Intelligence doesn't add up. A self-aware, conscious AI would be a person. Persons have rights.
Either they don't believe they can do it and are lying.
Or they want to own people.
Neither sounds good to me.

There is that
Beginning to look to me like the only type of boiled beer is European commercial beer. I don't think any of the other continents boiled, and European farmhouse brewers largely didn't, either.

So of course everyone concluded all beer must be boiled.

Today, a set of recipes for cooking lungs and liver in spicy sauces. #Earlymodern German had no word for #offal, but some meats were less equal than others.

We need to talk about this A LOT in Europe. Such a shocking illustration of how we are getting colonized by the Americans. Let's spread this widely so it helps galvanize public opinion.

Are you using AI, as a professional? Check your insurance cover, because a lot of the big insurers are about to pull out of insuring it. Which means that if you let it write your stuff or control your operations, you are potentially personally liable for its errors...
“Insurers increasingly view AI models’ outputs as too unpredictable and opaque to insure, said Dennis Bertram, head of cyber insurance for Europe at Mosaic. “It’s too much of a black box.”
