They can love the art, but the reality is without support, the people making it can't continue to produce it for long. There's this weird expectation that artists should be willing to create solely for the love of it, with no thought about what goes in or the toll it takes

Today is the 100th birthday of writer, artist, and editor Al Feldstein (Oct. 24, 1925-April 29, 2014), who is most remembered for his work at EC Comics and for the several decades he served as editor of Mad magazine.

I think alien anthropologists would absolutely love furries. Humans are a complex species of tool-users that just love to dress as other animals sometimes. Not for religious observance or resource gathering but just because it's fun.

Few promoters challenged us as much as Mo did, and in my heart I know we wouldn't have achieved a fraction of what have without him pushing us to do better. He was someone who truly loved pro-wrestling and worked tirelessly to build a positive environment, especially for kids.

Isekai where loveable cardboard crack addict protag is transported to the multiverse of a popular collectible card game and has to duel other card wielding pros from Earth in an ever shifting meta of legacy formats.
