The thing thats so insidious about using AI this way is that one of the main ways artists get hired are studios looking for art references and they find us and reach out.
This is removing a major avenue to get work if they can just generate nameless derivations of our ideas.

If this trend continues I really have no hope in being taken seriously as a creator. It’s hard enough as a traditional artist anyway.

I've said this before but one part of space marine lore that I don't think GW plays with enough is how much of a freak your average space marine is. These guys have two hearts, spit acid, and can transfer memories by eating each others flesh.
Reminds me of that body horror space marine getting armored up pic you posted about some time ago. There's a reason the Sisters hate these dudes as they are pretty mutant-like in design. SM2 kinda sorta tried to edge into that

I walked somewhere without any sort of mobility aid today, and from now on, whenever I have imposter syndrome about being disabled, I will remember that 1. It hurt real bad and 2. I could literally, LITERALLY hear my spine creaking with each step. Lol
