I’m usually so bad at taking my own advice, but I’m gonna hang onto this one because I still feel this way. Art by itself won’t save us by itself, but community can. And I think it will.
Not to be unkind, but I am so impatient about the “what’s the point of making my little zines/comics/crafts/art when the world is on fire” sentiments. I get it, but saving the world is not a responsibility shouldered by your art! That’s what being a neighbor, a friend, and hell, a citizen is for!!!

Just woke up from a dream that was more or less the circumstances leading up to the final battle in Cor's story. An early part of it is VERY Sailor Moon, but that tracks considering the Guardians are just magical girls.

It is exhausting looking through each person on these starter packs, but it is worth it seeing my main page dash thing here being filled with creative, talented people, some of which getting mad at things I get mad at, too. So that's fun and inspiring!
