Disagree about Last Jedi and Force Awakens. They can go between Rogue One and Solo. The wasp thing is accurate.

I don't know a single Java programmer who doesn't want non-nullable types, so I'm a bit skeptical here, and I'd also point out that Go failed resoundingly at making programmers not want generics :)

A monad is just a monoid in the category of endofunctors, what's the problem, Charlie Brown?
I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her, Charlie Brown.
My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius, father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife, and I will have my vengeance, Charlie Brown, in this life or the next.

Imagine the terrible sting of insufficiency these poor souls must feel when they hurl their finest insults at a beautiful and accomplished woman, only to be deemed too insignificant to be viciously crushed and dismembered by her.

That's literally Angela Merkel's "Wandel durch Handel" strategy toward Russia and pretty much everybody now agrees that it was fucking stupid.

They don't care. If these people of influence had any moral fiber, then they would have picked the other side long ago. They will only react when one of these Democrats gets shot, and their reaction will be to blame Biden and trans activists.

Oh well. It's hardly Rust's fault, the problem is essentially an assertion error that could have happened in any language. What's really worrying is that a single assertion error of this kind can bring down Cloudflare.

Well. I don't have kids. But if I did, I cannot imagine outsourcing the "read me a bedtime story" part to a teddy bear. That sounds sad.

Why on Earth would any child need or even want an AI-powered teddy bear?
November 17, 2025 at 5:10 AM
But... they're aren't going to actually release them. That's not happening. What's going on? Are they certain the Senate will block it? Or will they release a heavily redacted version that somehow only mentions Democrats and think they can get away with that.
