Being against the genocide in Gaza doesn't mean you're antisemitic. It means you're anti-genocide.

Everyone should be prepared for the fact that whereas with Iraq, anti-war protesters were smeared as traitorous terror lovers, this time we will also be smeared as bigoted anti-semites.

Pueblo folks, please show your support for environmental justice for our community by following our new organization, Roots to Resilience. It's greatly appreciated!
We just released a new short documentary that captures how Pueblo is at the center of CO's clean energy transition. Pueblo is a powerful example of how communities with deep fossil fuel histories can navigate the renewable energy transition. #VoteSolar #RootsToResilience #PuebloDeservesBetter

A study by the conservative Common Sense Institute pegs everything from lost coal jobs to higher utility bills on Colorado’s regulations, but correlation does not equal causation.
Report claiming environmental policies steal billions from Colorado’s economy based on bad math, advocates say
Common Sense Institute says greening up Colorado has enormous economic costs, but many dispute their methods and conclusions.

At every level of government and society, we're losing because we keep ceding ground and ceding the narrative bit by incremental bit. Stop ceding ground and the narrative out of anticipatory obedience and fight for something better for once! Ffs! #PuebloDeservesBetter!

Pueblo organizer Jamie Valdez says labeling hazardous expensive nuclear power as clean energy could jeopardize the renewable projects that have already proven their efficacy and are well on their way to powering Colorado’s energy needs.

We can't solve the problem of a dirty, polluting, unreliable, climate change-contributing coal plant with the same errant "jobs & economy" logic that brought us the damn thing in the first place! If we don't do things differently, nothing will ever change. #Xcel #ComanchePlant #PuebloDeservesBetter

TVA is dealing with unplanned outages at all three of its nuclear plants.
The necessary upgrades will cost TVA millions on top of the billions it's spending to build new natural gas plants.
Six of the commercial nuclear reactors in the U.S. are putting no electricity on the grid, according to NRC.
Three TVA nuclear reactors are shut down at once, pushing utility to ramp up fossil fuels

As a journalist who covers extremism at the local level, I think it’s a mistake to view Trump’s Napoleonic statement as solely about presidential power. Consider if it’s interpreted as a wink and a nod for any extremist to act outside the law to “save” the country as they see fit
