BBC Teletext test page rendered on the Philips P2000T in BASIC. Took me an hour to type in this listing and I can only see a couple of typos so well done me.

Can I find a microcassette to save the bloody thing? I have STC Executels galore and have bought multiple tapes. Loads.

Nope.

The teletext engineering page which shows all available colours and characters. Amongst all the colours is a pair of lines saying ENGINEERING and Test Page.

Of course. It's quite as with horses. You need to exchange them every 3 years or even less. After all, those horseless carriages are just a temporary fad.

(Note, this 'Law' was forged at a time when computers did barely deliver at all, with each generation doubling or tripling _useful_ performance)

Zweiteiliges Bild. In der oberen Hälfte ist ein kleiner EPROM-Baustein auf ansonstem leeren Hintergrund abgebildet, darüber der Text "Das soll ein ROM sein?". In der unteren Hälfte ist formatfüllend ein etwa einen Quadratmeter großes Dioden-ROM aus einem TA100 Rechner der 1960er Jahre zu sehen. Im diesem ist jedes Null-Bit mit einer einzelnen Diode realisiert.

Merlin II, programmed by Mike Pepperday for the #PC1248, was sold in thousands and I own a few of them. I knew of a competitor's product, Celesticomp V, but I never had seen one live until today, when the NOS one was delivered 😁.
