"The quicker we humans learn that saving open space and wildlife is critical to our welfare and quality of life, maybe we'll start thinking of doing something about it."

When I came upon this wonderful grove of lenga trees in Argentinian Patagonia, I could not pass up the opportunity. The dead branches & beautiful black trunks add an interesting graphical element to a sea of autumn colors.

The plants in my garden have been hit by heavy rain since morning, and I feel a little sorry for them.

Today's flowers and herbs are Anise-scented sage, Japanese anemone, Rosemary, Iceberg, Salvia azurea and Petunia.

🌱 #sixonSaturday from my tiny garden. There is still come colour to cheer up grey days and I am making the most of it.
A collage of six photos from my tiny garden. The two larger pictures are an orange Dahlia and the last flowers of Rosa Biddulph Grange. The small pictures are buds (and one open flower) of Lagerstroemia or Crepe Myrtle, purple Linaria flowers, a white Japanese Anemone and the tiny but highly scented white flowers of Osmanthus. Some people find Japanese Anemones easy to grow but this is the single flower of a plant that has been in my garden for years!
