Mom came by to drop off this ludicrous amount of kimchi.
Not pictured: the radish kimchi, white kimchi, and kimchi soup she also dropped off.

I found `will-change` being prematurely and excessively applied to elements and pseudo-elements in a way that actually harms performance and could have stacking context side effects in this candy bar.

Amazon laying off 14k "corporate" employees is worse the more I think about it.
- These are not seasonal layoffs.
- That figure is expected to double, according to Reuters. Amazon has stated they intend to continue to "remove layers, increase ownership, and realize efficiency gains".

We adopted our cat from the Humane Society when he was ~1 year old. He's ~16 now.
Generally an awesome cat. But he's never buried his poop. He'll do his thing, then get OUT of the litter box and scratch at the floor around it.
The instinct is there, but the execution is lacking.

Dropped my wedding ring and it shattered.
Fortunately it was only $3 from a beach gift shop and I bought an extra.

I had a middle school teacher that, on the first day of class, said "when I yell CHIMICHANGA that means stop and turn your attention to me!" and she only did that like once because yelling tex-mex dishes while middle schoolers are misbehaving didn't hit the way she thought it would

I somehow created a merge conflict, with myself, on the *initial commit* of a brand new git repo.
I'm sure there's an explanation, I was doing weird stuff, but still.
I'm very impressed/disappointed with myself.

Chipotle gets our orders wrong a lot, but this is prob the best one yet.
Kid’s cheese quesadilla, but instead of cheese, they put… nothing.
A kid’s nothing quesadilla 😅

so glad I got the chance to develop this interactive dataviz piece for @puddingviz.bsky.social! I'm really proud of how it turned out, and amazed there are others who also love cooking + math + web dev enough to help me make this silly dream a reality
Ever cry while cutting an onion? Well, now you don’t have to! Building off of chef J. Kenji López-Alt, we found the mathematically optimal way to dice an onion. *Cutting uniform pieces has not been proven to reduce crying, but you do get bragging rights.

It's easy to miss a key feature of Node's TypeScript support that was released on Friday: it's zero config 💥
Meaning you don't need to put anything in package.json. Strictly speaking you don't even need a tsconfig to run the code.

Been feeling like a ghost at work lately.
People ignoring my requests, pointing out things I've already pointed out, forgetting I worked on a project.
I don't think it's malicious. But it's not fun.

Spent half my day solving something and while I'm typing up the PR on GitHub I suddenly realize there's an easy fix that doesn't even require any code.
So it goes.

I feel like a lot of posts in /r/MaliciousCompliance could be easily resolved if people just tried talking and weren't fixated on passive-aggressive revenge fantasies.
